Fanatec has a date and price for what many have been waiting for since SimRacing Expo 2025: the Podium Pedals are now available to pre-order with shipping starting July 2026. The price is 699,95€ for both versions, the three-pedal set and the two-pedal Formula version with carbon components. Same price for both, which not everyone was expecting.
After several delays from the Q1 2026 they initially announced, Fanatec has locked in the schedule and there are no more excuses to put off planning your build. The brand enters this segment with some seriously impressive specs on paper, and that deserves a proper look at what these pedals actually offer.

A pedal set built to last
The first thing to understand about the Podium Pedals is that Fanatec has gone all-in on mechanical construction. The brake pedal arm and intermediate arm are forged aluminium, designed to stay rigid under high loads without any flex. The load cell is calibrated to 150 kg at the pedal plate, with a nominal capacity above 200 kg. For context, the ClubSport V3 topped out at 90 kg. That's a significant jump.
The throttle uses a precision Hall sensor with an industrial bearing at the pivot, and both travel and preload are independently adjustable. The resistance is quite firm by design, something that Fanatec justifies as a control advantage. The clutch, in the three-pedal version, includes a bite point adjustment mechanism that lets you move the resistance point within the pedal travel.
As for materials, the whole build combines black-finished aluminium with gold anodised details. The Formula version adds carbon fibre components, with pedal plates and heel cups in a single-seater style.

The CCS system: the most interesting part of the brake
The technical heart of these pedals is the Compression Control System (CCS), patented by Fanatec. It works with a stack of elastomers and springs on the brake axis, with threaded metal cups acting as mechanical limiters. Those limiters prevent the elastomers from compressing beyond their working range, which guarantees consistent response over time.
The stack includes four elastomers plus two blue springs (softer) and two green ones (the softest of the three types). These can be combined in many ways to tune the brake feel, and the best part is that the whole disassembly and swapping process requires no tools. The travel of each elastomer or spring is adjusted simply by turning the corresponding threaded cup: fully open for maximum travel, fully closed for an almost completely rigid feel.
Software and hardware adjustable pedal curves
The Podium Pedals feature new electronics that let you adjust curves and dead zones on all axes from the Fanatec PC app. You can create your own curves or choose from presets, and whatever you configure is saved in the pedal's internal memory. That means the curves are also available on console via the Tuning Menu, without needing a PC connected.

The interesting part is that mechanical and software adjustment are independent but complementary. For example, you can have a mechanically very progressive brake with hard elastomers and still configure a linear curve in the sim, or the other way around. That flexibility to combine both systems is what sets pedals in this range apart from more basic options. Two versions and an optional accessory
Fanatec sells the Podium Pedals in two configurations:
- Podium Pedals (3 pedals): throttle, brake and clutch. Shipping starts July 2026.
- Podium Pedals Formula (2 pedals): throttle and brake, with carbon fibre components, heel cups and formula-style side mounts. The clutch module is sold separately and will arrive later.
There is also a mounting plate with footrest sold separately. It is made from single-piece extruded aluminium with integrated T-slots for lateral pedal adjustment and measurement markings to reproduce previous configurations. Fanatec makes clear it isn't essential if your cockpit already has a solid pedal tray, but it's a nice option if you want extra rigidity or a cleaner install.

Price and where to get them
Fanatec Podium Pedals and the Podium Pedals Formula are priced at 699,95€ each, with shipping expected in July 2026. Pre-orders are already available on the official Fanatec website

They're aimed at people who already have a serious setup and want to take their brake and throttle to the next level. They're not the first pedal someone new to simracing would buy, but for those who have been running a basic load cell and want to step up, the package is pretty solid for this price range.
