Assetto Corsa, to this day, continues to stand out for those new mods that appear with new technology that, surprisingly, fits in a simulator that is almost 10 years old.
A few days ago, we wrote a top 5 best mods for Assetto Corsa, the most essential and that you could not overlook if you wanted an even more rewarding experience for a simulator that, in a certain sense, is weighed down by the years.
Today, we are here to write another top (in no specific order) about the best maps with huge roads where you can get lost for hours.
Table of Contents
1. Shutoko Revival Project
We already wrote in the previous top about this map, but it is so good that it cannot be left behind. Probably, you know its existence due to those famous videos in which you try to dodge traffic, since most of those videos and those servers, the protagonist is this map.

Shutoko Revival Project SRP features miles of Japanese roads, plus almost exact detail all around with those tall buildings and highway lighting, in addition to that provided by the buildings themselves.
You can download SRP from his Discord below: SRP Discord
2. LA Canyons
These roads are based on real California highways, winding through the San Gabriel mountain range high above Los Angeles. With hairpin turns and fast curves, they are perfect for racing, drifting, cruising or driving with friends.

Undoubtedly, it is an indispensable map if you want to enjoy an almost endless route, on your own or in company.
If you want LA Canyons you can download it from RaceDepartment: LA Canyons
3. ACP Metaverse

This map is also accompanied by servers that consist of dodging traffic, as was the case with SRP.

4. Pacific Coast Highway
Although we are not really talking about an "open world", it is a route along a coastal highway in California that has incredible views. It will make you feel an unimaginable immersion that doesn't feel like we're talking about a simulator that has been around for 10 years.
You can download PCH from RaceDepartment below: Pacific Coast Highway
5. NFS Reborn
Although it is still in WIP (Work in Progress), it is a great open world map to drive for hours, besides being a classic for most, since we are talking about the Need for Speed Most Wanted map from 2005.
For being in "beta phase", it is very well achieved, so I assure you that you will spend hours and hours remembering old times.
You can get this map from his discord: NFS Reborn
This concludes this top of maps that you can use if you are tired of high speeds and feel like disconnecting yourself, at home and with the car of your choice.
