This Gran Turismo version 1.36 update rolls out today, August 7, 2023, to all players, adding 4 new vehicles and experiences commemorating the Gran Turismo Movie, which will be released at the end of August.

4 New vehicles
From the social networks of the director of the saga, Kazunori Yamauchi, we have the clues of the content that will be coming to the simulator. Officially, we know that the new vehicles will be the following:
Chevrolet Corvette (C1) ‘58
In early 1953, no car that could be described as a "real" sports car was being built in the United States. At the time, the U.S. sports car market was dominated by European vehicles imported after World War II. To change the situation, GM launched the Corvette, a sports car produced under its Chevrolet brand. This first Corvette was born in 1953.
The body, 4.25 m long and 1.77 m wide, was fitted with a 152 hp, 3.8-liter, in-line 6-cylinder engine. The Corvettes launched that year were practically hand-built, and only 300 were produced.
Maserati MC20 ‘20
The MC20 is the mid-engine supercar that Maserati announced in 2020. The brand is famous for its elegant and masterful high-performance GT cars and front- and rear-wheel drive engines. The MC20 is the first mid-engine model in its road car range in 15 years, since the demise of the MC12 in 2005.
The new 3-liter twin-turbo V6 engine includes the first F1-like pre-chamber combustion system used in a production car. The engine produces a maximum of 630 hp and 730 Nm of torque.
Toyota Ambulance HIMEDIC ‘21
Toyota has been manufacturing and selling ambulances by adding special equipment to commercial and passenger vehicles. The latest model is the third generation of the high standard "Himedic" ambulance.
With a chassis length of 5.6 m, width of 1.89 m and height of 2.49 m, it is powered by a 2.7-liter 2TR-FE in-line 4-valve gasoline engine. The front and rear of the vehicle are equipped with a series of 100% LED red warning lights.

Toyota GR Corolla MORIZO Edition ‘22
Gazoo Racing (GR), Toyota's high-performance brand, has applied its motorsports expertise to produce the ultimate sports compact, the GR Corolla. The goal for this car was to be able to deliver exceptional performance to match any rival.
Power output has been improved by reducing resistance to exhaust flow, exceeding the GR Yaris figure with a maximum of 304 hp. For its part, the drivetrain employs an active torque distribution system and four-wheel drive with a mechanical self-locking Torsen differential.
Extra menus GT Cafeteria and Scapes
Finishing with the addition of vehicles, three extra menus have also been added for Cafeteria GT:
- Extra menu #26: "Maserati" (collector level 40 and above)
- Extra menu #27: "Aston Martin" (collector level 44 and higher)
- Extra menu #28: "Kei cars" (collector level 27 and higher)
In addition to landscapes for taking screenshots and immortalizing vehicles, the "fire station" has been added to the highlights section.
Gran Turismo movie content
Celebrating the release of the movie in the same month of August, a campaign has been launched with the Nissan GTR Nismo as a giveaway from August 7 to September 28.
