Official teaser for the 'open world' of Assetto Corsa EVO

With the arrival of early access to Assetto Corsa EVO, many of us are wondering what would happen to the rumoured "open world" that we saw in the game's first teaser. Obviously, due to the work required to create such a huge map, we knew it wouldn't be included in the first version of the simulator.

After several months, with the start of a new year, 2026, and up to version 0.4 of Assetto Corsa EVO, the first teaser for the "open world" of AC EVO in the Eifel region, the area surrounding the legendary Nürburgring circuit.

In this teaser, we can see several details, such as the entrance to the circuit, as well as the possibility of driving with traffic on the adjacent roads. Traffic is a great addition thanks to those servers with mods from Assetto Corsa mods, which allowed us to dodge it at very high speeds.

In addition to this, we have observed a very lively atmosphere, with pedestrians and even animals in the areas near the road, which adds a touch of immersion that we always seek.

At the moment, we do not know whether it will be possible to walk around with our character to observe the world, our vehicle and even, who knows, visit shops or dealerships, although it is not an unreasonable possibility.
