As every year, Electronic Arts gets to work on launching the next title in the Formula 1 series. The officially licensed video game of the top motorsport category now has an official release date, along with its PC requirements and official trailer.
Although the trailer is cinematic and rendered in the game engine—without revealing too much—we do get a glimpse of the newly revamped interface. This interface has generated some controversy, as many players are not fans of it, though we'll have to wait until the final release to see if this HUD remains.
Another key feature shown in the nearly two-minute trailer is the return of Braking Point, the F1 story mode that was present in two previous installments.
