Real-Time Tracking
An innovative real-time tracking feature has been introduced, boasting a sleek user interface. This allows instant access to all your lap time data, enabling improvements in real time.
With the initial release of Delta 2.0, real-time tracking will function with ACC and iRacing, providing a wealth of statistics to analyze your laps. Let's see how all of this works.
How does it work?
Just like the original Delta, when you open the app, it waits for you to load into a session. As soon as you exit the pits in that session, it automatically starts tracking your laps and sends that data directly back to Delta in real time. This applies to all practice, qualifying, and race laps. If you return to the pits twice during qualifying, for example, you'll see separate stints. Similarly, if you pit during a race, you'll see two distinct stints.
What you see in the stints
Each lap is broken down to display every sector and how you're performing in these sectors. You'll see your overall lap time and its validity, the amount of precipitation, ambient temperature, track temperature, and fuel consumption per lap.
You'll also see how much oversteer or understeer you experienced in the laps, both at low and high speeds, allowing you to adjust your driving style or setup in the session to improve your lap times. Additionally, you'll have visibility into the consistency of your lap times and fuel consumption.
