After a lull on Fanatec's part in terms of releasing Direct Drive bases, a new series has emerged on their website with novel features that could potentially set a milestone in this still-expanding market of virtual competition.
This ClubSport DD offers 12 Nm of constant torque with incredible responsiveness and dynamics. This allows your simulator, regardless of the platform you own, to become much more realistic. But that's not all, this new base includes Fanatec's new QR2, to which we will soon dedicate an article.

AUTHENTIC TORQUE
Many Direct Drive bases on the market struggle to maintain the declared torque figures, gradually reducing the motor performance over time to prevent overheating. The efficient motor of the ClubSport DD, along with its thermally optimized design, sustains a genuine 12 Nm of torque even under the most extreme conditions, such as during an endurance race with Force Feedback settings at maximum.
FULLFORCE: Force Feedback 2.0 for DDs
Fanatec QR2 included
The ClubSport DD was designed with the QR2 in mind from the start. The QR electronic module is now fully integrated, significantly enhancing its durability. When switching from the QR2 to the QR1 design, only the outer metal flange is removed, meaning there is no need to alter any electronic connections.
